A lot of men won’t admit to being jealous of certain male celebrities. With all of their fame and fortune, we can totally understand why you would be jealous. Even some unattractive actors can have a huge fan base and plenty of gorgeous women who are willing to do anything for a couple of hours alone with them. Many times, men show their jealousy over these actors by ridiculing them. They insult their movies, talents, looks, and personalities in hopes that it will make women less interested in these actors and the roles they play. Unfortunately, this method has a way of backfiring on them. But instead of hating on popular actors because they can pull in lots of women, you should try mirroring them.
Play the Part
More often than not, women end up loving particular actors because of the roles they played. Instead of trying to make a woman see that you’re better than that actor because you’re a regular guy, you should instead figure out why she likes a certain actor and use her replies to your advantage.
The first thing you need to ask her is why she likes a certain character. For example, some women love Robert Downey Jr. for his role as Tony Stark in the Iron Man movies. When asked why, these women typically reply it’s because he’s humorous and confident. Of course, we also know that Tony Stark is pretty full of himself, too. When a woman tells you her favorite actor and her favorite role that the actor played in, you are going to have to use your best judgment to pull out the good things about this character. If her favorite character is known for his witty sense of humor and you know that you can sometimes be a stick in the mud, you are going to need to brush up on your wit and charm. If her favorite character has a mysterious element to him, pretend to have your only element of mystery.
Look the Part
If her favorite fictional character is always wearing top of the line suits and shoes, you may not be able to acquire the same clothing, but that doesn’t mean you can’t look the part. You can still dress sophisticatedly without having to spend a fortune. There are hundreds of websites that have suits and other men’s clothing at ridiculously discounted prices. You can even try department stores and thrift shops to help piece together the look of her favorite fictional character.
Take some time to watch the movies and television shows that feature her favorite character. You can also look online to get a better in-depth understanding of the character. Most importantly, get her talking about the character that she adores. It’s going to be a topic that she loves and she won’t have any problems answering as many questions as you ask her. You will have to make sure the questions come off as conversational. Don’t make her feel like she’s being interviewed or she’ll be onto you.
